Oh, hey there!

It’s hard to believe that I haven’t written a blog post in 11 months, but it also makes perfect sense.

Working full-time and going to school nearly full-time, my radio hobby has been relegated to the increasingly rare “weekends without homework.” This is not to say I’m not engaged with amateur radio content on Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter, but I’m not often on the air.

I’m currently finishing up my long-overdue AA degree, and have applied to USF as an Electrical Engineering major. I’ll start there in August, and have less free time for radios than ever!

In other news, I’m proud to be working with Matthew NJ4Y and Ben N4BLH to put on the 3rd annual Florida State Parks on the Air, coming up the first weekend of April. I will be activating with Anson WU2F and Pat AA0O. We’ve obtained special event call W4E to operate from Egmont Key all weekend. It’s going to be fun, and I’d love to work you! Check my Twitter April 6/7 for frequencies.

Until then, I’ll get back to work. Thanks for reading this update, and I hope to be more active on the blog in the future!
